Lava-flow miner Sven is a dwarven miner found in the east of Keldagrim, just north-east of the Blast Furnace building and close to the entrance of the Lava Flow Mine he works in. He begins the quest King of the Dwarves by taking the player on a tour of the mine itself, though the tour turns into a rescue mission when a cloaked figure destroys part of the mine and causes a cave-in that traps several Lava-flow miners.
After the cave-in Sven is seen trying to calm the mob which has amassed at the entrance to the mine, and later runs off to tell the Consortium and is not seen again during the quest. He can be chatted to after the quest, found in the same place he was originally.
To go along with Birthright of the Dwarves, every dwarf in the game is now up to date with stunning new graphics. The graphics team have really outdone themselves, giving every dwarf in Gielinor a character all their own, as well as the tough, stocky frames they deserve.
