C5a 아나필라톡신 화학수용체 C5a2 는 C5L2, G단백질결합수용체 77 로 알려져 있으며, 인간에서 C5AR2 유전자 에 의해 인코딩 되는 단백질이다.[5] [6]
함수 아나필라톡신스 C3a, C4a, C5a는 숙주 방어에 참여하는 보완 캐스케이드 동안 생성된 양이온 파편이다.부적절한 보완 활성화 의 경우 아나필라톡신(anaphylatoxins )은 자가면역성 및 패혈증 에 관여할 수 있다. C5a2는 다결정핵 중성미자 에 C5a 수용체 (C5a1, C5aR, C5R1, CD88)와 공존하며 C5a1 활동을 변조할 수 있다.[6] [7]
