Alpheus is an archaeologist found in the base camp on Anachronia. When asked what he thinks of the island, he claims their research indicated it should be full of fossils.

During the Helping Laniakea miniquest, either Eliza or Alpheus can trade a block of stone for a dirty stick.

Archaeology

Alpheus may be recruited to the player's research team as a part of the Archaeology skill once the player has the associate qualification and is shown a fully completed totem.

He has the following effects on the research expeditions:

Trivia

• When Alpheus says "I'm personally looking forward to it being built as there's a certain sandwich stall in Ardougne I'd love to visit again." May be a reference, to Steve Rothstein, who bought a lifetime AAirpass and would fly to Ontario to buy a sandwich for lunch.
