Liverworts are high-level Slayer monsters requiring level 110 Slayer to kill and are the strongest of the vile blooms. Eight of them can be found in the eastern area of Anachronia, located in the oculi apoterrasaur hunter area.

Locations[edit | edit source]

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Liverworts use ranged attacks against the player. After performing ten auto-attacks (24 seconds), the liverworts drag the player next to it, stunning and binding them for four seconds while shooting out three spores in front of them. If the player doesn't move away within the allotted time, then the spores explode on them and deal 1,368 poison damage times three spores, while healing the liverworts for the same amount. If the player moves away from the liverworts, then the spores explode and damage the liverworts for the same amount of damage.

Using Freedom or Anticipation right before the special attack will cause the liverworts to spin and shoot their spores in the opposite direction of the player. Alternatively, using Freedom while stunned by the special attack and running away will cause the liverworts to take the damage alone.

Drops[edit | edit source]

Drop rates estimated based on 64,800 samples from the Drop Log Project, unless otherwise cited.

The average Liverworts kill is worth 20,280 coins.

Unique drops[edit | edit source]

  1. ^ 1/2,000 chance during a Slayer task; 1/8,000 chance otherwise. 10% drop rate increase when Roar of Osseous (status) is active.

Main drops[edit | edit source]

Rare drop table[edit | edit source]

There is a 1/128 chance of rolling the rare drop table.
Luck-enhancing items are not required to access the table, but they will increase the chance of accessing the rare drop table and may also improve the loot received from it.

Rare drop table
  1. ^ Molten glass removed from the drop table with tier 2 luck.
  2. ^ Runite stone spirit removed from the drop table with tier 3 luck.
  3. ^ Raw lobster removed from the drop table with tier 4 luck.
  4. ^ Vecna skull requires tier 4 luck. Without it, coins are dropped instead.
  5. ^ Cheese+tom batta dropped only without tier 4 luck. Indicates a roll for Hazelmere's signet ring and Blurberry Special.
  6. ^ Blurberry Special requires tier 4 luck. Indicates a failed 1/10 roll for Hazelmere's signet ring.
  7. ^ Hazelmere's signet ring requires tier 4 luck.

Tertiary[edit | edit source]

  1. ^ A sealed clue scroll (elite) drop only attempts to roll should you fail to roll a hard clue. Should you roll this item, there's a 1% chance it'll be upgraded to a sealed clue scroll (master).
  2. ^ There's a 1% chance that a Sealed clue scroll (master) will be received in place of a sealed clue scroll (elite).
  3. ^ a b c The drop rate for any totem piece is 1/300. Specific pieces have drop rates of 1/900, 1/600 or 1/300, depending on how many pieces the player has already obtained.
  4. ^ a b c d To receive pieces of Skeka's hypnowand, the Aged journal must have been read previously. There is a 1/1,400 chance to roll for a hypnowand piece; however, there is a 70% chance that this will be a handle piece and a 10% chance for each of the other three pieces, respectively. Luck increases this drop rate: tier 2 multiplies it by 100/99, tier 3 by 100/98, and tier 4 by 100/97.

    Trivia[edit | edit source]

Liverwort is the name of a division of plants similar to mosses; while they share name, there is little resemblance between real-life liverworts and RuneScape's liverworts. They appear to be based on the similarly named bladderwort, squirting cucumbers and the berries of yew trees.
