The slayer helmet stand is present in the Slayer Lodge in Anachronia base camp when it is upgraded to tier 3. Level 90 Slayer is required to construct the stand and level 20 Defence is required to place a slayer helmet onto it. When a helmet is on the stand its effects are granted without having to have the helmet equipped:

• Damage and accuracy bonuses while on Slayer assignments
• Effects of the spiny helmet, earmuffs, nose peg and face mask, as well as the ushabti catch chance increase if the players have the corrupted slayer helmet on the stand
• 1%–5% boost to Slayer experience provided from adding souls to the chest of souls (20–100 souls in the Slayer Codex)

The players do not get the armour, PvP damage reduction, ferocious ring effects or teleports, ring of slaying teleports or access to the Slayer Codex, regardless of unlocks or helmet tier. The effects may not available in some quest area, likes Freneskae during the quest Fate of the Gods.

The slayer helmet can be retrieved after being placed.
