The Gate of Elidinis in its arena

The Gate of Elidinis is a skilling boss found in the Underworld, requiring completion of the quest Ode of the Devourer to access. The Gate of Elidinis was once a device that connected the Underworld with the overworld allowing souls to return and reincarnate. It was corrupted by Amascut and now poses a threat.

The Gate of Elidinis can be fought with a team of 1–10 players and scales its mechanics accordingly. The Agility, Construction, Crafting, Divination, and Mining skills are used during the encounter. Similarly to Croesus, skilling pets may be obtained from the encounter.[1]

While combat is not necessary for the boss, it has an effective requirement of level 25 Agility, 86 Archaeology, 20 Cooking, 66 Magic, 75 Necromancy, 40 Prayer, 54 Construction, and 10 Slayer due to the quests required to access it.

Receiving all unique rewards from this encounter completes the achievement A Chip Off The Old Block, unlocking the title [Name], the Moonlit.

Completing the achievement Pull Yourself Together VI by participating in 100 successful encounters against this boss will grant the player the ability to use the Gate of Elidinis and its eclipsed skybox variants outside of the encounter.

Location

The Gate of Elidinis is located at the top of the Sanctum of Rebirth. Methods of transportation to the boss include:

Teleporting to this boss through the Beasts interface casts a Home Teleport to the City of Um lodestone.

Drops

Drop rates estimated based on 6,103 samples from the Drop Log Project, unless otherwise cited.

A loot chest appears next to the statue of Elidinis after completing the encounter. Anything not taken from the chest will be moved to the Gate of Elidinis Treasure chest outside of the instance. The collection log will update and any broadcasts will be announced before the chest is opened or any items are taken out. The chest does not need to be inspected to continue fighting the boss.

The Gate of Elidinis does not drop charms and does not have access to the rare drop table.

The average Gate of Elidinis cleansing is worth 2,581,775 coins.

Unique drops

There is a 1/120 chance to receive an item from this table.

Main drops

The following table is rolled four times per kill.

Secondary drops

This item will replace one of the four main drops when received.

Tertiary drops

  1. ^ The chance to receive After The Flood increases to nearly 100% after 15 encounters.
  2. ^ a b c Triskelion fragments are dropped in order.
  3. ^ Will not be dropped if the player has more than five effigies in total.
  4. ^ Fragment of the Gate has a base drop rate of 1/1,500 with a threshold of 400.
