Metallic dragon trinkets are a neck slot item that, when worn or in the inventory, pick up and note dragon bones (or Hardened/Reinforced) and salvage from bronze, iron, steel, mithril, adamant and rune dragons, as well as offer teleports to places where these dragons are located. They also provide Slayer experience on kills even outside Slayer assignments and have a 5% chance per hit of instantly killing a metal dragon when its health is above 80%.

The chance to kill a metallic dragon instantly can also be triggered on metallic dragons that are not the player's current target, including both aggressive and non-aggressive metallic dragons within range of chained abilities such as Corruption Shot. It is not required to wear the dragon trinkets for this effect to occur. Simply carrying them in your inventory will work.

The bonecrusher upgrade, when configured to pick up bones, will preempt the metallic dragon trinkets, and you will receive unnoted bones in your inventory without consuming the trinkets.

They can be acquired by using the 'convert' option of dragon trinkets at a ratio of 5 to 1. Metallic dragon trinkets can also be converted back into regular dragon trinkets, each producing 5 dragon trinkets.

5 Metallic dragon trinkets can be bought from the Elite Dungeon Reward Shop for 25,000 dungeoneering tokens, or from the Marketplace for 100 oddments.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The ability to create metallic dragon trinkets was first added on 4 April 2016, but this was later patched so that they could not be created or used. The ability was re-introduced on 14 April 2016 for the promotion for these items. The promotion lasted until 18 April 2016. Metallic dragon trinkets could be won directly from Treasure Hunter in batches of 75, 150 and 300 during the promotion.
