혈소판 당단백질 Ib 알파 사슬은 당단백질 Ib(혈소판), 알파 폴리펩타이드 또는 CD42b(Cluster of Differenciation 42b)로도 알려져 있으며, GP1BA 유전자에 의해 인체에서 암호화되는 단백질이다.
기능.
당단백질 Ib(GP Ib)는 이황화물 [citation needed]결합으로 연결된 헤테로다이머, 알파사슬 및 베타사슬로 이루어진 혈소판 표면막 당단백질이다.Gp Ib는 von Willebrand Factor(VWF)의 수용체 역할을 합니다.완전한 수용체 복합체는 당단백 Ib-IX-V 복합체를 형성하기 위해 혈소판 당단백 IX 및 혈소판 당단백 V와 알파 및 베타 서브유닛의 비공유 결합을 포함한다.GP Ib-IX-V 복합체가 VWF에 결합하면 혈관 손상 후 혈관 하피로의 초기 혈소판 접착이 용이해지고 혈소판 활성화, 혈전증 및 지혈 [citation needed]증상으로 이어지는 혈소판 내 신호 전달 이벤트가 시작됩니다.이 유전자는 알파 서브유닛을 암호화한다.이 유전자에는 여러 가지 다형성과 돌연변이가 기술되어 있으며, 그 중 일부는 버나드 솔리에 증후군과 혈소판형 폰 윌브랜드병의 [5]원인이다.
