Reach for a Dream's Captain Courage Project a 'snorkelling' success!

Reach for a Dream's Captain Courage Project a 'snorkelling' success!

Date: 2013-09-13
On Saturday, 7th September 2013 the annual Reach for a Dream Captain Courage Project took place which saw15 boys aged between 3 and 18 suffering from life-threatening illnesses, being transported on the back of Harley Davidsons dressed in bikers gear from the Reach for a Dream offices in Gateway to uShaka Marine World. The main reason for their visit to uShaka was to try out snorkelling in the Snorkel Lagoon at Sea World in order to teach the boys to be courageous in dealing with their illness.

Under the watchful eyes of uShaka Marine World staff, the Harley Davidson Biker Buddies which form part of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) and Reach for a Dream, the boys had a wonderful adrenaline filled adventure and at the end of the day, received a goodie bag from HOG and a memory of a lifetime from the Captain Courage project and Sea World!
