Challenge to companies at The Amorello Challenge!

Date: 2015-07-24
TheAmorello Safari Park, situated 20km outside Hluhluwe on the R22 towards Sodwana, will be hosting The Amorello Challenge and Stephen Wimborne and Brian Jackson, who are part of Blue Security's "Blue Angels", are challenging other corporates to enter their athletes and join in on the camaraderie.

On Saturday, August 8th, all competitive rides will take place . The entry fees for the Trail Run option are R50 for the 5km which starts at 08h35 and R100 for the 10km which starts at 08h30. Then for the Mountain Bike option - the general entry fee is R100 for the 10km which starts at 08h25, R120 for the 25km which starts at 08h15 and R180 for the 50km which starts at 08h00 and only includes a ticket into the race selected, however accommodation packages are available on request for participants wanting to make a weekend of it.

Not only is there fun to be had, but there is also prize money to be won. For the trail run and MTB race in each category, there is 3 x the race entry fee back in cash to be won for 1st place, with 2nd place receiving 2 x the race entry fee back in cash and 3rd place receiving their standard race entry fee back in cash.

Then on Sunday, August 9th there is an option to participate in non-competitive guided rides at R50 per ride.

Stephen Wimborne commented, "I have entered a number of various other cycling events and am looking forward to taking on the Amorello Challenge MTB 50km race with my colleague, Brian. We have already started training even though it is a fun challenge and are hoping to see other companies participating as well".
